My car got broken into a couple nights ago. They used one of the smaller solid cast-iron caps from a nearby fire hydrant to smash the passenger-side window and stole my GPS; I had left it on the stand suctioned to the window in the middle of the dash.

Remember to either take your GPS out of the car or keep it hidden folks!!!

Hey just saw this post as I havent been to this site in a long time.

I remember the day when people would buy those car stereos that you can detach the front and stick it in your glove compartment.

But with the GPS i also heard its good to even take the suction part and hide that too cause if you take out the GPS someone will see the suction and know a GPS has to be around somewhere.
